📍 Find Your Purpose: The Roadmap God Already Placed Inside You

Updated: Mar 10

Ever feel like trying to find your purpose is like staring at a map… but you’re not even sure where the starting point is? 🗺️

Like everyone else seems to know where they’re headed… and you’re just hoping you don’t miss God somewhere along the way.

If you're like I was 🙋🏼‍♀️.... you pray, overthink, and analyze every option.

You read the books, take the classes, cry out to God… doing everything you know how to do to figure out God's specific will for your life.

Underneath all that pressure are some honest questions many women carry:

🤷🏾‍♀️ Am I on the right path?

🤷🏻‍♀️ What if I miss it?

🤷🏼‍♀️ What if I get it wrong?

🤦🏽‍♀️ I just wish I knew my purpose.

As a woman, you’ve probably sensed there’s more for your life… you just couldn’t quite name what it is.

And honestly? Figuring out your purpose is hard. It can feel really confusing.

But here’s something that completely changed how I see this:

The roadmap to your purpose isn’t far away. It may already be inside you.

God’s plans for your life aren’t hidden somewhere out there. Often, they’re written into the way He designed you.

📖 Jesus Revealed This With One Brilliant Question

In Matthew 22, the religious leaders tried to trap Jesus with a political question about taxes. Jesus picked up a coin and asked:

“Whose image is on this coin? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. “Then give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.”— Matthew 22:20–21

That coin belonged to Caesar because his image and inscription were stamped on it.

And what belongs to God?

You do.

Genesis tells us humanity was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).

Which means something pretty incredible. Just like that coin carried Caesar’s imprint… your life carries God’s imprint. 👀

Your story, your gifts, your longings, your wiring... they aren’t random. They're clues of His inscription.

They are fingerprints of the God who made you and the plans He wrote on your heart.

🌿 Your Design Reveals Your Direction

Many women think discovering their calling means chasing something far away.

But often it starts with noticing what God has already placed inside you:

❤️‍🔥 The things that move your heart.

💪🏾 The strengths that come alive when you use them.

🔥 The problems you can’t stop caring about.

Psalm 37:4 says:

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

This verse isn’t saying God hands out random wishes like a Genie.

It means that as you walk with Him, He shapes the desires that guide you. Those desires begin acting like a compass pointing you toward purpose. 🧭

✨ A Simple Place to Start

Instead of asking, “God, what’s my whole purpose?” Try asking something smaller and more revealing:

“God, what have You already placed inside me?”

Notice:

• When you feel most alive

• The ways people naturally ask for your help

• The strengths that feel almost effortless

• The dreams that keep returning to your heart

Sometimes the first clue to your calling is simply noticing what He has already been doing.

And one more question to sit with:

Where do I already see God’s fingerprints in my story?

These aren’t accidents. They’re part of the roadmap God wrote into your life.

💛 A Story I Love

A woman in our Revival Life community named Lyndsie began to realize she had spent most of her life quietly believing God was disappointed in her — like she wasn’t doing enough or hadn’t figured out the “right” things to do for Him.

But when she started connecting the dots of her story and how God had been speaking all along, everything changed. She realized she had already been living pieces of her calling.

The God she imagined as an unsatisfied tyrant turned out to be a tender Father who had been pleased with her the whole time.

Once she saw what was true, her next steps became clear — and exciting. Now she’s pouring that same love into her kids and community in ways she never imagined.

That’s what Jesus loves to do. 💕

He takes ordinary people — fishermen, tax collectors, women with complicated stories — and calls them into extraordinary purpose.

And it usually begins with something simple: “Follow Me.”

Purpose unfolds through relationship. God draws out your identity like a good Father would — face-to-face, side-by-side, step by step.

🌟 And If You Want Help Connecting the Dots…

One of the things we love most at Revival Life is helping women recognize the patterns God has already written into their lives.

Inside the Revival Life Signature Course, women begin to:

• Hear God’s voice with more clarity

• Recognize the themes in their life story

• Discover the strengths and desires God placed in them

• Heal the beliefs that have been holding them back

• And create a clear roadmap for their calling

It’s honestly one of the most beautiful things to watch.

Because when women begin to see their story the way God sees it… everything starts making more sense.

You begin to live your purpose, walk with bold confidence, and experience more joy than you thought possible.

If you’ve been sensing there’s more for your life… there probably is.

The roadmap to find it may already be closer than you think. And I promise — God is far more eager to reveal your purpose than you are to find it. 💛

Let's go get it!
