🗝️ 5 Ways to Unlock Your True Potential With Jesus

Ever feel like there’s something more waiting to bloom in your spiritual journey, but you’re not quite sure how to unlock it? Trust meeee, you’re not alone! I’ve been there too. 🙋🏼‍♀️

🌵 Aaaannnndddd… if life’s been feeling more like a prickly pear than a sweet peach—stress, impatience, or frustration instead of love, joy, and peace—it’s probably time for a soil check!

Last summer, I planted a veggie garden (thanks to my garden gurl 👉🏼​Nicole Burke​👈🏼), dreaming of plump tomatoes and zucchini for summer dinners. I followed all Nicole's gardening tips, but when that blazing sun hit, my dreams withered before me! 👀🔥🙀 Only my eggplant survived. 🍆🤷🏼‍♀️ What I didn’t realize? I needed to install an irrigation system to keep my lovelies hydrated—especially when life gets crazy. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Our spiritual lives work the same way. Just like my veggies needed regular watering to thrive, we need consistent nourishment from Jesus, through the Holy Spirit—the ultimate source of life, growth, and all the good fruits.

Jesus laid it out perfectly for us:

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me, you can do nothing." (John 15:4-5)

Translation? Staying connected to Jesus is the irrigation system your soul needs. 💦 Without it? No blooms, no fruit, no growth. With it? Transformation. The kind that turns dry, withering branches into vibrant, fruit-bearing ones, alive with purpose and peace. 🌳✨

It's not about faking it (like duct-taping fake fruit to a tree 🎋), but living in genuine connection with Him, so the real fruits can’t help but sprout! No striving required! 🍇

When your bond with Jesus deepens, your desires align with His, you receive all you ask in His name, and God is glorified as you thrive. He’s deeply invested in your connection and growth!

Here’s how to know if you’re plugged in: 🌟 Are the people around you tasting those sweet fruits—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—in your life? 🌵 Or does life feel like a desert, with more prickles than sweetness?

If it’s the latter, it’s time to tap into the right vine.

Even more, God’s ready to unearth the incredible potential, identity, and strengths He’s placed within you. He wants to lead you into richer experiences, deeper knowledge of who He is, and access to miracles—all THROUGH your connection with Him.

Here’s how to stay deeply connected to Jesus:

1. 🌿 Read the Word: Dive into scripture, reflecting on His promises with fresh eyes. Use His truths as lenses to view your life, letting them reshape your beliefs and dreams.

2. 🙏 Consistent Prayer: Chat with God throughout your day about everything. Big or small, He cares about it all. These regular check-ins build a strong bond, and He loves them!

3. 💞 Live Out His Love: Put His teachings into action every day. Love boldly, obey with joy, and choose trust over worry. Avoid the “weeds” that can choke out His words and pull you down. Your life will reflect more of His love and wisdom.

4. 🎶 Worship in Community: Joy multiplies in company! Gather with others who walk closely with Him, leaning on their wisdom and support as you experience His joyful, liberating presence together.

5. 💬 Be Authentically You: Be real with Jesus in prayer—He calls you friend, not just follower. Like the Psalms show, God welcomes every emotion. Letting Him into your struggles allows His words to guide and heal you. He’s the ultimate Counselor, Healer, and Spirit of Truth!

Knowing you need a deeper connection is one thing—building it is another. But it’s so worth it! Each step of connection with Jesus brings His life flowing through you more richly.
