Worried You Won’t Like God’s Will for Your Life? 🫣 Here’s Proof That You Will!

Updated: Jun 5

When I was 32, God asked me to give Him my kids.

My first thought?

😳 "Who's gonna die?!"

Seriously.

But right in the middle of my panic, I sensed Him say:

"I'll make them revivalists."

And suddenly I realized something.

God wasn't asking me to lose something... He was inviting me into something bigger.

But I almost missed the thrill of the promise because I was staring at the fear.

Maybe you've done that too, wondering if you’ll actually like God’s will for your life? 🤔

You sense God leading you somewhere, and instead of excitement, your brain starts generating worst-case scenarios.

💭 What if I don't like where this leads?

💭 What if God asks too much?

💭 What if I miss His will?

💭 What if His plan feels smaller than mine?

💭 What if following Him means giving up what I really want?

Girl... I get it.

I've had hundreds of conversations with women who secretly wonder the same thing.

I've watched women in REVIVAL LIFE ask the hard questions and move from fear to clarity. Listen to Chelsea:

Testimony from Chelsea sharing how trusting God’s will for her life brought clarity, peace, and breakthrough

Here's what I've discovered:

The issue usually isn't trusting God's ability. It's trusting His heart.

The enemy has been questioning God's goodness since the Garden.

"Did God really say...?"

"What if He's holding out on you?"

"What if there's something better somewhere else?"

Same lie, different century. 😅

The unknown feels scary when life has given you reasons to question God's goodness.

Part of you wants to trust Him. Another part is bracing for disappointment. That's the tug-of-war.

Here’s solid truth:

💯 God is even better than you think.

💪🏼 You're more capable than you realize.

🤯 And His plans are far bigger than you're imagining.

It’s no wonder doubt tries to distract you. 🫥

Jeremiah 29:11 says:

"For I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God isn't trying to steal your joy. He's trying to lead you into it.

He's not asking you to become less you. He's teaching you how to become fully alive.

Every time I've trusted Him with something precious, I've discovered He was protecting, multiplying, healing, or expanding something I couldn't see yet.

That's what good fathers do.

And honestly?

The more I've followed God's will for my life, the more I've liked it. 😂

I won't lie, it's not usually easy or comfortable. But then I remember that we were born into a war-zone and made for battle 💪🏾... and the breakthroughs won are worth it. 🎯

His plans fit and align with how He made me. All my gifts, desires, passions, purposes are waiting to be unleashed. It's like discovering He knew me better than I knew myself.

And I'm telling you, His plans will invigorate and thrill you like nothing else!

He’s loaded your backpack with everything you need—gifts, graces, and favor you'll discover along the way.

One of God's names literally means "God My Exceeding Joy." So don't be surprised when His will includes laughter, adventure, friendship, and moments that make you feel more alive than ever.

💡 When Doubt Creeps In

A few things help me remember God's heart:

📖 Track His Faithfulness: Write down how He’s led you before: the breakthroughs, provision, timing, peace, answered prayers. Remembering how God’s shown up and led you in your own personal history builds bold faith for what's next. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

🌱 Soak in Scripture: The more time you spend with Jesus, the harder it becomes to believe He's against you. His goodness starts becoming familiar and His sweet-toned voice becomes easier to recognize. Let the Bible be your compass, and His solutions will rise you above the overwhelm. He's kind and empowering, and His promises and abundant plans for you are true.

🫱🏾‍🫲🏼 Stay Connected: Surround yourself with faith-filled friends who’ll encourage your identity in Jesus and help you break past limiting beliefs—those doubts and fears that try to mask the glory of what God's leading you into. Isolation fuels confusion. Surround yourself with people who remind you who God is when your emotions get loud.

🕊️ Pray Honestly: Share your hopes and fears with God honestly. Tell Him the truth. Then let Him tell you what's true. Your fears aren't too much for God, and He wants to show you His care and guidance. That's where peace settles.

💥 Final Thought

What if God's will for your life isn't something to fear?

What if it's actually the place where your gifts, purpose, joy, freedom, impact, and deepest fulfillment come alive?

What if the thing you're afraid to surrender is the very thing He's preparing to redeem, multiply, or restore?

Fear says surrender means loss. God says surrender is often where multiplication begins. 💥

Girl, God is not trying to make your life smaller. He's trying to make it whole.

You don’t have to feel stuck in the tug-of-war. God is ready to launch you into your destiny! 🎢

Girl, I promise (and so does Eph 3:20)...

His plans are better than the rumors fear has been spreading about Him. 😉

With you,

Kandi
