🙅🏼‍♀️ No More Guessing: Start Hearing God with Confidence

Updated: Apr 13

You know those moments when hearing God’s voice feels like trying to catch a whisper in a crowded room? 🙉

Or when, like many of us, life just gets so busy that listening falls off the to-do list?

Here’s the truth: hearing God’s voice clearly doesn’t have to be hard.

Imagine this—God’s voice isn’t a tricky puzzle to solve; it’s a gift waiting to be unwrapped. 🎁 And when I finally started acting on the nudges I felt from Him, it set off a domino effect of breakthroughs in my personal life, business, and ministry. 🤯

Psalm 119:105 tells us, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Hearing God isn’t about straining your ears—it’s about stepping closer to the light He’s already shining. 👣

Logos & Rhema: Two Ways God Speaks 💬

The Bible talks about two powerful ways God speaks: Logos (written word) and Rhema (spoken word). These aren’t just theological terms—they’re powerful tools for hearing Him more clearly.

Logos: God’s Written Word 📖

Logos is the Bible—God’s eternal, unchanging Word. It’s the foundation of truth, a vast ocean of wisdom that reveals who He is and what He promises. When we immerse ourselves in the Word, we see His character and His heart more clearly.

  • "In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." - John 1:1

  • “Hold firmly to the word (Logos) of life” - Philippians 2:16

  • “For the word (Logos) of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword…” - Hebrews 4:12

Rhema: God’s Spoken Word 🌬️

Now, Rhema is the Holy Spirit’s voice speaking directly to you in the moment—a fresh, personal word that meets you right where you are. It’s that fresh whisper that brings life and peace just when you need it.

  • "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word (Rhema) of God." - Romans 10:17

  • Jesus says, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word (Rhema) that comes from the mouth of God.’" - Matt 4:4

  • No-thing (no-Rhema) from God will ever fail.” - Luke 1:37

Together, Logos gives you a steady foundation, and Rhema shines light on the next step.

Knowing God’s Logos Prepares You for His Rhema

When you know God’s Word (Logos), you’ll better recognize His specific voice (Rhema) when He speaks to you in the moment. And as you respond to His Rhema, you’ll start to see fruit—confirmation that it’s Him who’s leading you.

Here’s the best news: God isn’t silent. He’s not playing hard to get—He’s constantly pouring out words of encouragement, guidance, and faith. We just need to tune in.

"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)

As 1 Corinthians 14:3 says, His words always build us up, lift us up, and draw us close. So, here’s your invitation: spend time in His Word and then open your heart to His whispers—you’ll be surprised at the breakthroughs that follow and how you'll begin hearing God with confidence.
