🙅🏼‍♀️ No More Guessing: Hearing God With Confidence and Trust

Updated: Jan 23

Have you ever tried to hear God and felt like you were straining for a whisper in a noisy room? 🙉

Or felt so busy that listening for Him slipped to the bottom of the list?

Here’s the truth, girl: God’s voice isn’t complicated.

He’s not hiding. He’s not testing you. He's definitely NOT trying to confuse you.

His voice isn’t a tricky puzzle to solve; it’s a gift waiting to be unwrapped. 🎁

God is already speaking—steadily, lovingly, and clearly. His words are pouring out all the encouragement, guidance, and faith you'll ever need.

And His tone? Always life-giving and peaceful. It's never, ever condemning.

“The mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” — Romans 8:6 “The one who prophesies [God's heart] speaks encouragement, strengthening, and comfort.” — 1 Corinthians 14:3

That’s how you recognize Him.

He always builds you up, lifts you up, and draws you close.

Hearing God isn’t about effort—it’s about familiarity. And familiarity comes with practice.

When you learn His voice, everything changes: clarity replaces confusion, confidence replaces second-guessing, and purpose starts to light up again. 🔥

I’ve lived it. The nudges I once doubted became the very whispers that unlocked breakthrough in my family, business, and ministry. 🤯

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” — Psalm 119:105

God isn’t asking you to strain—He’s inviting you to step into the light He’s already shining. 👣

💬 Logos & Rhema: Two Ways God Speaks

The Bible shows us two primary ways God speaks, and understanding them changes everything.

Logos: God’s Written Word 📖

Logos is the Bible—God’s eternal, unchanging Word. It’s the foundation of truth, the steady anchor that shows you who He is and what He promises. When you soak in Scripture, you learn what God sounds like. It's a chance to tune into His heart and nature:

“In the beginning was the Word (Logos).” — John 1:1 “Hold firmly to the word (Logos) of life.” — Philippians 2:16 “The word (Logos) of God is alive and active.” — Hebrews 4:12

Logos forms your foundation.

Rhema: God’s Spoken Word 🌬️

Rhema is when Holy Spirit speaks something specific, personal, and timely to you in the everyday moments, bringing life and peace just when you need it. It's a nudge, a reminder, a direction, a word of encouragement.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word (Rhema) of God.” — Romans 10:17 “Man shall live on every word (Rhema) that comes from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4 “No word (Rhema) from God will ever fail.” — Luke 1:37

Rhema reveals your next step.

🔑 Here’s the key:

Logos trains your ear. Rhema guides your steps.

When you know God’s written Word, you can recognize and test His spoken word with confidence.

Because God’s voice will always sound like God: peaceful, loving, steady, and life-giving.

👀 Scripture in Action

Peter knew Scripture, so when the Holy Spirit moved at Pentecost, he could confidently say,

“This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel.” Acts 2:16

Logos helped him recognize Rhema in real time.

And Moses? Burning bushes were actually normal in the desert. But one day he noticed this one wasn’t consumed and said,

“I will go over and see this strange sight.” — Exodus 3:3

That curiosity and pause turned ordinary ground into holy ground.

God often speaks through what looks ordinary. When you pause and pay attention, it can become revelation!

Why This Matters ✨

When you learn God’s voice:

  • you stop second-guessing

  • you discern truth from fear

  • you walk with confidence instead of confusion

And when you respond to His voice, you’ll see real fruit—peace, strategy, joy, boldness. And a satisfying connection and partnership your soul craves. 💕

Jesus promised it:

"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me." — Jesus in John 10:27

Girl, you were designed to hear God!
