You keep coming back to the same question: “God… do I wait, or do I move?” 🤔
If you’ve ever wondered how to know God’s will — whether to wait or move — you’re not alone.
This isn’t a small question. This one matters.
Because you don’t want to bulldoze your way into something you weren’t called to… but you also don’t want to sit there like 🧍🏼♀️ waiting forever and miss what He’s doing.
So you…
😜 sit in the tension
😇 try to be faithful and wise
😅 try to not mess it up
😶🌫️ wonder “Why does this feel so unclear?”
Underneath it all is the real question: “God… am I doing this right?”
You want to honor God.
You don’t want to strive — but you also don’t want to miss it. ⚖️
So you hover.
Thinking. Processing. Second-guessing your second-guessing. 😅
Waiting to feel 1000% certain before you move.
GURRLLLL… that’s relatable.
Let’s Go To Scripture 📖
In Exodus 14, the Israelites are standing at the edge of the Red Sea.
Behind them? Pharaoh’s army 🚨
In front of them? A literal ocean 🌊
No plan, bridge, or boat. Just vibes. (Bad ones.) 😬
And God says something that feels… confusing.
First: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)
Then right after that: “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.” (Exodus 14:15)
Be still… and move forward.
Which one?? 😅
It’s Both 💥
God was never asking them to choose between waiting and moving. He was asking them to move from trust, not panic.
And that’s exactly where you are.
Biblical waiting isn’t passive… it’s a kid ready to rip into Christmas morning.
If there’s a “let Dad get his coffee first” or “wait til Grandpa arrives” minute 🫠, you plan where you’ll sit, you shake a few boxes, you ask again. 😂
That’s the kind of expectancy and posture God is inviting.
You’re not confused because God is unclear.
You’re feeling the stretch of learning to move with Him — not ahead of Him, and not dragging your feet behind Him either.
How You Move With God 🏆
You’ve been asking:
💭 “What if I’m striving?”
💭“What if this is fear?”
💭“What if I get it wrong?”
But underneath all of that? You care about honoring God. 🤍 And that matters more than you realize.
Let’s clear something up:
Striving isn’t about taking action. It’s carrying pressure God never gave you. 🎒
Resting isn’t doing nothing. It’s staying connected to Him while you move in tandem. (He carries the heavy stuff. You don’t have to. 📚)
What might it look like for you to rest with Him?
Maybe it looks like:
🚪 Knock on doors — see what opens
📖 Learn something new (+ get counsel)
🕊️ Slow down to listen
🧠 Release the pressure (renewing your mind)
✂️ Let something go
☀️ Make space for joy — even if it feels “unproductive”
That’s not striving. That’s how you move with God.
Let’s Look At Jesus 👀
He stepped away to be with the Father, and then He moved clearly, confidently, and without spiraling.
(No “let me overthink this for 3–5 business days” energy 😂)
He didn’t need the whole plan. He trusted the One who had it.
Remember, Jesus didn’t live from constant all-knowing awareness in His humanity (see Mark 13:32, John 5:19, John 8:28, John 5:30, Luke 2:52, Phil. 2:7).
And as He moved, clarity and confirmation came:
🍷 Mom’s request → wine (John 2)
🎣 Cast your nets → overflow (Luke 5)
👀 Mud → sight, step by step (John 9)
🚰 One conversation → city revival (John 4)
🍞 Offer what you have → thousands fed (Matt 14)
⛓️💥 Prayer + fasting lifestyle → a boy set free (Mark 9)
Jesus’ pattern was staying close to the Father, obeying what He heard, and letting clarity unfold as He moved.
He was always in step with the Father, and the rest followed.
So firstly, just like Jesus…
You don’t need full clarity to move.
You need connection with God.
Here’s What People Miss 🔍
There are patterns. God is not random or unclear.
God is consistent. He confirms. He weaves things together over time.
But you don’t always see it in the moment. You see it when you step back and connect the dots.
This is how you begin to hear God clearly—by recognizing how He’s already been leading you.
And you?
You’re in the middle of your own pattern right now.
Some days you feel close to God. Some days you’re like, “hello??” 😅 Nothing’s wrong. Your faith is growing beyond feelings. 💪🏽
You’ve already sensed it: “I think something bigger is happening.” You’re right.
But it’s not just happening around you — it’s happening in you.
God is forming:
✨ trust
✨ clarity
✨ confidence in how you hear Him
Sometimes it feels slower than you want. But slow ≠ stuck. Slow is where roots go deep. And deep roots hold real fruit. 🌱 🍇
Here’s Your Invitation 🫶🏽
Stop trying to figure out the whole life plan tonight. 😅
If you’ve been asking “Should I wait or move?” the answer is:
stay with God — and take the next step you sense Him leading you into.
Not the perfect, guaranteed step. Just the next one.
Because the Red Sea didn’t part while they stood there analyzing every angle.
It parted as they moved — while trusting God to make a way. 🌊✨
✨ You’re not behind.
✨ God is not hiding His will from you.
✨ You’re learning how to walk with God in real time.
You’re not stuck trying to figure out God’s will — you’re learning how God leads you.
One Last Thing 💛
If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to figure out God’s will…
whether to wait or move…
and wished someone could help you actually see the pattern…
that’s exactly why we built the Signature Course.
Clarity doesn’t come from guessing harder.
It comes from learning how to see what God is already doing.
We’re here to help with that. 👩🏼🤝👩🏾
You’re not stuck. You’re being trained to walk with Him.
And honestly? That’s better than having a perfect plan anyway. 😉
Cheering you on!
