Ever catch that low-grade whisper that says, “You’re not good enough”? It’s like a ghost in the room—quiet but relentless, always finding some angle to convince you it’s right. 👻
But here’s the reality: that voice isn’t your own. It’s a tired, recycled lie the enemy’s been spamming since you were a kid. And just because it’s familiar doesn’t make it true.
Think about it. Ever caught yourself saying:
❌ “I’m not good enough to be chosen first.”
❌ “I don’t deserve the love and attention.”
❌ “I can’t take a break without guilt.”
❌ “I’m not enough to go for the job.”
❌ “I shouldn’t take up space or stand up and speak.”
Whew. That junk can pile up fast, suffocating your dreams, silencing your voice, and shrinking your impact.
For most of us, that “not good enough” lie took root early—when the people who should have spoken life over us were silent, or worse, spoke words that wounded. Maybe love felt earned, or acceptance felt like a moving target. Those moments plant lies that echo into adulthood, twisting our self-perception and shrinking our potential.
God’s ready to call you out of the shadows, remind you who you are, and bring deep healing where those lies once took root.God's ready show you His care and bring you into full emotional and psychological healing, so that you experience the truth that sets you free.
Here’s truth to start: You are so much more than what you do, what you achieve, or even your wildest dreams. The best thing you have to offer the world is YOU. Your authentic presence, in all your messy, beautiful, unfiltered you-ness, is pure delight to God. This is who you are at the core—God’s best idea, His handcrafted masterpiece, a spark of His divine imagination.
Ever held a newborn and felt that deep, chest-crushing love that makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time? That’s how God feels about you. Always has. Always will. Nothing can mess that up—not even your worst day. 😉
His perfect love chases away every lie, every doubt, and every ounce of fear.
He’s already tossed your imperfections into the forget-me pile, from east to west, as part of His brilliant love strategy. That’s His kind of love. 🥹
You don’t need any more filters. Because when God looks at you through the filter of Jesus’ blood, He sees a pure, spotless bride walking up the aisle—confident, beloved, and chosen.
❤️ He’s overtaken with love and affection for you.
❤️ He’s eager to lock eyes and share dreams.
❤️ He whispers, “You’re more than enough” and "VERY good."
❤️ Because He designed you just so, and filled you with Jesus.
And He’s all in, ready to spend a lifetime showing you it’s all true.
Here’s what God says:
🗣️ “There is now no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1) (So the condemning "not good enough" lie is as real as ghosts. 👻💨)
🗣️ “You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.” (Psalm 8:5)
🗣️ “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)
That voice telling you you’re not enough? It’s fake news. God’s already flipped the script. He crowned you with glory, called you by name, and set you free.
Here’s where you start to break up with that lie:
✨ Pray for insight. Ask God to show you the truth about who you are—bold, chosen, seen, and loved. His voice and presence are transformative, and as His child you need to hear repeatedly what your good Father thinks of you.
✨ Dive into His Word. Study God’s good nature within the stories of Jesus and let His promises rewrite your inner dialogue. Soak in scriptures like Psalm 139:14, Genesis 1:27, Colossians 2:10, Ephesians 3:19, and Psalm 23:1.
✨ Call in your tribe. Get real with people who speak life, truth, and courage over you! God plans to strengthen you, encourage you, and draw out your identity through trusted community.
✨ Get creative. Use your gifts to remind yourself of the beauty God’s already placed in you. Let your art, words, music, and time outside echo God’s truths!
✨ Step out. Silence the lie by doing the very thing it told you you couldn’t. Recognizing your imperfections is part of the journey. Growth isn’t perfect, but it’s powerful.
You’re not stuck. You’re being transformed. God’s got a crown with your name on it. 👑
Just like Cara Bennett, a dedicated wife and mom, you too can break free from old lies and step into your true identity in Jesus. Cara shares,
"I used to keep my voice hidden, thinking that staying in the background was the best way to serve others. But through my journey in the Revival Life Signature Course, I realized where that feeling of 'not good enough' started and how much it was costing me. God set me free! Now, I've learned to speak up freely and confidently, recognizing how my voice contributes value and brings about breakthroughs. My entire life has leveled up!"
This testimony is for YOU, too! God will help you embrace the vibrant future He's sketched out just for you and uncover more of the amazing person He’s made you to be. Here’s to discovering your true worth and stepping into your full potential—just like Cara did. 🌟
Begin with God now:
“Jesus, I need Your help to ditch this ‘not good enough’ belief, because deep down, I know it’s not true. Thank You for being everything I need. Show me all the ways You’re ‘El Shaddai,’ more than enough, and how You’ve made me more than enough—for me, my family, my work, my dreams, and even for You. What about me makes You smile today?”
Pray it. Believe it. Live it. You’re already enough, because He says you are.
To your wonderfully made self,
Kandi
