Find Peace in Anxiety—Even When Faith Feels Out of Reach

Updated: Apr 24

Okay, let’s talk about something I know many of us wrestle with—that line between researching in wisdom... and spiraling in fear. 😅

I love learning. Like, give me a topic and I’ll deep-dive like a boss. 🤓 I love picking up knowledge along the road of wonder.

But let’s be real—when pain or symptoms would hit my family, I wasn’t learning in faith... I was panic-Googling. 😬 #googlesaysimdead

And girl, fear will have you convinced that the more you "know", the more control you have. But fear is a liar—and control is an illusion.

As God’s grown me in the gift of healing, I’ve witnessed hundreds of supernatural healings with my own eyes. 🙌🏼 And through every single one, He’s kept drawing me deeper—not into figuring it all out, but into trusting Him more.

Let’s call it what it is:

Fear and faith run on opposite frequencies. When fear creeps in, it doesn’t come alone. It drags doubt, disappointment, rejection, and a whole storm of worst-case-scenario thinking. 🌪️

It slowly pulls you toward the very things you’re trying to avoid—until you’re stuck in a swirl of “what ifs” and totally disconnected from peace.

But here’s the truth: You are not alone in this. And no matter how far faith feels, it’s actually closer than your breath.

“Greater is He who is in you...” — 1 John 4:4
“The Kingdom of God is near.” — Mark 1:15

That word “near”? It literally means within reach.

Jesus is saying there, “Hey, the upgrade is right here. God’s rule—with ALL its benefits—is available now, and right in front of you. So shift your mindset and trust the good news!”

He’s inviting you to receive the kind of peace that calms the storm. Jesus literally makes it a breeze. 🌬️ (Okay… was that Dad-joke status? 😂 But still—truth!)

In every moment, you can reach out and touch heaven’s goodness—and step fully into His peace, His presence, and His trustworthy Kingship. 💛

When you run out of gas.

When you're triggered and can't think straight.

When you feel hurt and angry.

When that work deadline is coming.

When the kids are giggling—then throwing fits.

When anxiety (rooted in worry about the future) overloads your system.

When you don't know what to do....

God's there with a piece of heaven, ready to be found.

If you’re tired of spiraling in fear, this is your invitation to find peace in anxiety by anchoring your heart in God's nearness and truly good nature.

So let me ask:

What fear are you tired of carrying? Where are you ready to trade anxiety for peace?

If you're hitting on something deep, send us a message to let us know—we'd be honored to pray with you. You don’t have to carry it alone. ❤️

Anxiety isn’t just a disruption—it’s often a signal that something deeper needs attention. A need that’s gone unmet, a belief that’s out of sync, or a fear quietly stealing your peace.

And that’s exactly why peace matters so much. In Colossians 3:15, Paul says to “let the peace of Christ rule your heart.” The Greek word for “rule” here means to act as an umpire—to blow the whistle when something’s off.

So when anxiety flares up loud and fast, it’s not your cue to panic—or to shove it down and push through. It's your invitation to pause and ask:

“What do I need right now… that God is already eager to provide?”

Because peace is God’s way of gently guiding you back to truth, alignment, and rest. God's peace will lead the way forward!

Jesus promises us in John 16:33,

“In Me, you may have peace... In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I’ve overcome the world.”

And Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us,

“With His love, He will calm all your fears.”

That’s a peace no storm can steal. 🌊

Here’s the truth:

Faith isn’t something you manufacture. It’s a gift.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”— Ephesians 2:8

And you can ask for more of it!

The Holy Spirit lives with you and in you—continually dripping faith into your heart, moment by moment. 💧

God loves when you lean into the gift of faith and boldly ask for what you need. It moves His heart! And the more you hear His voice, the more your faith grows.

👉🏼 👉🏼 I remember when I was battling chronic health issues and clear as day, I heard Him say during a worship session, “I will heal you—of course I will.” That word anchored me. I grabbed hold of it, stood on it, and within a month? 100% healed. 🙌🏼 (Waaaay better results than Google, let me tell you. 😉)

For a Spirit-filled believer, faith isn’t some hype emotion—it becomes your natural response to life. And step by step, it truly changes everything.

Want to grow in that kind of unshakable trust?

Here’s how to activate it:

🔑 Trust in His goodness. (Psalm 23:6)

👂🏼 Listen for His voice. (Romans 10:17)

🙋🏼‍♀️ Ask often. He already knows what you need. (Matthew 6:8)

You can even start now ⤵️

Trusting God in the unknown isn’t always easy. But that’s why Revival Life exists—to help you see His nature, hear His voice, and recognize His goodness woven through your story.

This is your moment to trade fear for faith.

To walk forward, heart open, eyes up.

To live bold—and anchored—in His promises.

To grab hold of that good-news-kingdom-goodness within reach. ✨

You in? 🙌🏼

Cheering you on every step,

Kelsi
