🫣 Overcoming Fear with Faith: What the Enemy Hopes You Never Discover

Updated: 2 days ago

I had a moment that changed everything.

I looked back and realized that ALL of my biggest breakthroughs happened right after I took bold leaps to follow God’s voice. And suddenly, it hit me:

Fear was the real thing holding me back. 😳

What I didn’t realize at the time was that overcoming fear with faith would unlock every single breakthrough I’d been praying for.

Maybe you’ve felt it, too. That pull toward something bigger—a dream, a calling, a step of faith—but then, hesitation creeps in. The questions start swirling:

💭 "Could this dream shake up my family’s life?"

💭 "Am I waving goodbye to my cozy routine?"

💭 "Will a bigger calling drain my bank account?"

💭 "Am I risking friendships by exploring a new path?"

💭 "What if I waste time shooting in the dark?"

It’s that fear of loss that tries to keep us clinging to what’s familiar instead of stepping into what’s possible. And that fear? It’s one of the enemy’s favorite tactics.

Why Fear Feels So Intimidating

The enemy’s real target isn’t your comfort, your finances, or your relationships. It’s your faith. Because he knows how powerful it is—faith heals, moves mountains, pleases God (Hebrews 11:6), and unlocks your purpose.

Jesus understood the value of unshakable faith. That’s why He told Peter, "I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail." (Luke 22:31-32)

And it’s why the enemy fights so hard to:

💀 Fill your nights with worry.

💀 Drain your energy during the day.

💀 Keep you stuck in loops of doubt.

If he can keep you clinging to the familiar, looping in default beliefs, and afraid of losing something… he can keep you from stepping into your full potential in Jesus.

But here’s the truth:

📖 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

With Him, you lack nothing. Everything you need for victory is already yours.

4 Truths About Faith the Enemy Hopes You Never Discover:

💪🏼 1. YOU OVERCOME

James 4:7 says, “Submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

So how do you submit to God when fear whispers that you might lose something?

It starts with knowing this: God is not just King—He’s GOOD. And He doesn’t ask for blind obedience. He wants your honest heart. Your real fears, real struggles, real questions. He’s not here to dominate you—He’s here to carry the weight for you and guide you through the valleys.

When you truly know how deeply loved you are, fear of loss loses its grip. Because you know that no matter what—God is for you.

💰 2. YOU RECEIVE ABUNDANCE

Faith opens doors to a life overflowing with blessings. Jesus promised an abundant life (John 10:10), but here’s the key:

Some of God’s promises are conditional. Do this, receive that.

Your trust in Him unlocks every breakthrough He has ready for you!

Surrendering fear of the unknown isn’t a small thing—it’s a precious act of trust. That’s why David said, "I will not give to God that which costs me nothing." (2 Samuel 24:24)

Romans 8:28 assures you that God is weaving all things together for your good. You are not lacking. You are not losing. You are positioned for MORE.

🏦 3. YOU ACCESS MORE

Following Jesus never leads to less.

It may feel like sacrifice at first, but you are actually gaining everything.

As you align with His will, you start discovering the talents, gifts, and callings He placed inside you. You step into a bigger story. You become a key player in His Kingdom.

And here’s what you find along the way:

More peace.

More joy.

More purpose.

More fulfillment.

Because when you walk with Jesus, you are never empty-handed.

🏋🏻‍♀️ 4. THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES THE HEAVY LIFTING

You don’t have to muster up enough strength or courage on your own.

God never asked you to do this alone. That’s why Philippians 2:13 says: “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.”

Your job? Say YES.

God’s job? Do the heavy lifting.

Think of it this way: 🍇 The branch (you) just stays connected while the vine (God) produces the fruit.

How Do You Access This Kind of Faith?

It’s not by forcing it. It’s through love.

📖 “Perfect love drives out fear.” (1 John 4:18)

When you encounter God’s perfect love, it changes everything.

🚪 Fear makes you hesitant. Love makes you bold.

🔓 Fear keeps you stuck. Love unlocks your calling.

🌿 Fear makes you cling to control. Love makes you trust.

Fear of loss will try to shake you. But nothing can take away what God has for you.

I'm in your corner and would love to hear how I can support you!
