When Life Feels Stuck: Remember the Epic Story You're In

Updated: Oct 27, 2025

Sometimes life feels like a wild ride where your GPS keeps rerouting and you’re just trying not to spill your coffee. ☕️

You’ve got purpose in your bones but potholes in your path, and somewhere between “recalculating” and “rerouting,” you start wondering if you missed a turn.

That was me when half our ministry team left.

Suddenly, I was juggling three energetic boys, church commitments, client deadlines, and about seventeen open Google Docs. My coffee was doing the Lord’s work 😅 as I carried more responsibility—and heartache—than I thought I could.

I felt stuck. Drained. Like my sparkle had dimmed.

Then God threw me a mini plot twist.

I “accidentally” bumped into Havilah Cunnington—the woman I secretly stalked on Instagram for inspiration. Four boys, full ministry, fire in her eyes… aka living my dream life.

We talked for ten minutes——about motherhood, ministry, personalities—and something in me reignited.

As I walked away, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper:

“She’s your people. Don’t shrink. You’re made for big things, too.”

Cue the tears in the sunshine. 🥹

It wasn’t really about Havilah—it was about how God saw me. In fact, the next Sunday, I met someone new at church who told me, "Do you know who Havilah Cunnington is? You remind me of her." And again, I felt so seen by God.

I realized I wasn’t waiting for permission to shine… I already had it.

And I think He’s whispering the same thing to you:

You’re not stuck in a subplot—you’re being positioned for the next scene.

Every detour, delay, and “how is this my life right now?” moment is setup for something glorious.

And now? I’m living and leading fully in my calling—coaching, creating, teaching—watching God redeem that weary season by expanding my capacity.

Not by pushing through... but by abiding better.

He taught me that rest builds reach and creates overflow. I'm experiencing how stillness expands strength (where rush used to drain my battery by lunch). 🪫👉🏼🔋

He’s rewriting what it means to hold more, run farther, and see clearer—as well as appreciate and enjoy the simple gifts right in front of me—and He can do the same for you. 🌿

🌆 Tomorrow Matters

Revelation 21–22 paints a picture so stunning it’s almost cinematic: a city where heaven and earth finally collide, beauty and laughter everywhere, and the presence of God lighting up everything.

This is where humanity's story is headed:

🏡 Every broken thing made whole.

🎨 Every culture bursting with creativity.

👩🏽‍🎨 Every person reflecting God’s artistry.

🌈 Every dream redeemed and blooming.

🏰 The grandest homecoming mixed with uncharted adventure.

❤️‍🔥 God’s presence of joy saturating everything.

It’s not about escaping—it’s about renewal.

The Bible doesn’t end with clouds and harps—it ends with resurrection life and restored purpose.

That’s where your story is headed, too

Not toward a tidy ending, but a breathtaking continuation.

A world alive with God’s glory, beauty, and joy.

And you, fully alive in everything you were ever meant to be.

🌞 Today Matters

The story doesn’t start “someday.” It starts now.

Every small act of obedience, every late-night prayer, every “yes” when quitting sounds easier—it all echoes in eternity.

Your life is a rehearsal for heaven.

💡 Ponder that.

Your actions now are rehearsals for your royal roles tomorrow.

Every act of love, forgiveness, and creativity is forming your eternal rhythm.

The intimacy you build with God here doesn’t fade—it deepens, expands, and grows brighter into forever. 🌿

Even when life feels off-script, remember—the epic story you’re in is still being written by the Author who never wastes a scene.

Because in God’s hands, nothing is wasted. Every choice to love, sacrifice, trust—even the messy, mundane moments—are all being woven into His masterpiece.

And the best part? You don’t have to wait for heaven to start shining.

✨ It’s Your Time to Shine

Isaiah 60:1 says,

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth... but the Lord rises upon you, and His glory appears over you.”

Darkness might be real, but so is the glory rising on you.

You don’t have to wait for your circumstances to shift to glow again. You’re not behind—you’re becoming. You’re not waiting for permission—you’re walking in purpose.

It was Jesus' idea that you would pray, "on earth as it is in heaven."

So live like the story’s already in motion—because it is:

💥 Heaven is touching earth every time you say yes.

🎨 Your choices today are painting eternity with color.

🪡 Your faithfulness now is shaping your forever.

So don’t dim down or apologize for being radiant.

Your joy, creativity, and courage are divine evidence of God at work. 🌿

Sister, you’re one of the story’s brightest plot twists.

💫 How to Live Like It

How do you start living like your story matters today?

Here’s the secret: you don’t have to overhaul your life—you just have to invite God into it.

👉 Ask Him where He’s already moving in your everyday routines.

👉 Choose wonder instead of worry.

👉 Let worship sneak into the small moments—school drop-offs, dishes, deadlines.

👉 And say “yes” to His nudges, even if your knees are shaking.

Because heaven’s story isn’t waiting for later—it’s unfolding through you right now. 🌍💛

With you in the story,

Kelsi
